Can anyone help me? I've made salt sizzlers, but am not sure how to dry them out. Do I leave them to dry in a container with the lid on or do I leave the lid off to air dry? Or is there another way of doing it?

Some people spread then out on a towel they don't care about and let them dry in the sun or a protected porch. Just be sure to keep away from small children and pets.
I spread them out and they've been drying neat a window for 2 days now but they're still wet. Is there something Iv done wrong? I used a 2% fragrance ratio to the salt
everywhere I read it seems to indicate that the only really important thing is to spread them out evenly over a baking tray anywhere safe for 1 to 2 days and it will dry regardless.
I would be nervous about heating them or putting them in the sun, so salts in general tend to melt with moisture and heat.
Place in a moisture free area , in full sun if possible. This may take 24 to 48 hours to cure naturally !
Salt sizzlers need some direct or indiruce sunlight to dry out. This is the best way to dry them to get the results you need. They always need to be spread out on a tray or towel and left for 24 to 48 hours to dry completely. Leaving them in a closed container or even in a container with the lid removed will not work. Find an old baking sheet and line this with a towel.
Okay, thanks for all your comments. So iv left them to dry on a tray next to a window for nearly 2 days now but they're still wet. I used a 2% fragrance ratio to the salt. Does anyone have any ideas why they're still wet? Thanks.
It could be anything. Without knowing the recipe you followed and if you followed it exactly, how much humidity you have in your space, etc. I am not sure anyone can tell you why they didn't work.
It is a little concerning if your recipe did not give you directions for drying them and that you had to seek public info....my guess is the recipe was not something tried and true.
You may want to ask around to your friends and family and find a recipe that is proven and just start over.
