Photo Description From mid-October through mid-November, over 2000 Japanese Maples put on a glorious display. The surrounding wildflower meadows are awash with hues of yellow, red, and orange as the Sumacs, Golden Rod, and other seasonal favorites complete their blooming cycles. The largest display of water lilies in the nation dazzles visitors near the Monet Bridge as the surrounding gardens and trees are serenely reflected in the numerous naturalized ponds. Many sculptures located throughout the gardens add a whimsical appeal to the peaceful setting. The Manor Gardens are equally stunning and one truly feels like a guest as you wander through the magnificent grounds! I believe getting outdoors, breathing fresh air, communing with nature is the best escape from the daily stressors of life. Get out there! ENJOY!
I feel very fortunate to live in North Georgia where we have a lovely year-round seasonal display of color. A wonderful friend recently asked me to join her for a day of outdoor enjoyment at Gibbs Gardens, where fall has splashed its autumnal shades everywhere and The Valley Gardens were spectacular as the season comes to an end.
