Finding Free Tires?

Does anyone know where I can get free or low cost tires for my car live in Jefferson county Missouri? I need 205/60/16.

Here are some low cost tire tips:

  • Go over any tire advertisements that mail home to you.
  • Call nearby tire companies ask if they have any special promotions (Example here - we have some areas that offer Buy 2 tires, get 2 free). If they do not have any promotions, ask to get a quote on the cheapest tires with installation cost/recycling fee. They charge recycling fee per tire so if you want to keep your tires tell them and maybe recycle as a planter or something then you could save that money.

  • Long shot but you can search on Craigslist for any used tires
  • You can call smaller tire companies and ask if they sell used tires for less cost but it may not be safe (only temporary but there is no warranty)

Go to an auto body shop. Sometimes cars that are totaled have usable tires.
