Finding a Low Cost Vet?

My lil puppy thinks he is a tester for all things on the floor and ground. Today my poor Jack has been throwing up and when he goes potty it is liquid; he is still drinking water. I want to have him seen by a vet, but I don't have the money to pay at the moment and I just moved here and don't know where to take him. I know he got ahold of a dead bird and I just started noticing he has worms now, he has had his shots and is normally very healthy. If anyone knows of any help please let me know.

Take him to the Humane Society or the SPCA.

Sorry to hear. I hope you find your puppy a vet soon and that he will be okay soon.

  • You could check Yelp reviews in your area and call to get an estimate.
  • You could also also ask recommendations on Facebook to your friends if they may know any vets in the area?
  • If you are on NextDoor already, you could ask for advise there.

You don't say where you are located, but every large town should have some dog/animal rescue and most have a low cost vets they work with.

Also most vets, if you talk to them and explain your situation, can work payment plans out for you.

With all of the symptoms you are talking about--esp. worms, it is best to get Jack in to see someone ASAP.

If worst comes to worst, and you can't find a vet to work with you, if you have a social media account like Facebook you can start a go fund me to help you pay for the care.

Friends and family and even strangers can be quite generous , especially when it comes to animal welfare.

Prayers for healing!

Check with your local humane society or local dog rescue groups.
