Flower Vase Mother's Day Card - finished cardThis Mother's Day it would be nice if you can easily preserve the flowers that you receive. These pretty paper flowers create lasting memories more than a fresh one and you can display it for as long as you want.

Editor's Note: We received this project after Mother's Day, but want to share it anyway. This pretty card can also be crafted and given for any number of other occasions.

Supplies:

Flower Vase Mother's Day Card - supplies
 

Steps:

  1. Cut a square out of a piece of cardboard. You can choose any shape you want.
    2. Flower Vase Mother's Day Card - cut a square from the cardboard
     
  2. Draw a pattern for the 3D flowervase. You can find 3d patterns around the internet.

  3. Cut out the pattern.

  4. Bend the lines or markings on your drawing.
    5. Flower Vase Mother's Day Card - bend the lines on your pattern
     
  5. Cover the vase and the card with different paper designs.
    6. Flower Vase Mother's Day Card - cover the vase and the card with different paper patterns
     
  6. Now, trace the tails or tips of the vase onto the card.
    7. Flower Vase Mother's Day Card - mark the card for attaching the vase
     
  7. Cut these markings to make holes.

  8. Insert the tips of the 3D vase into the holes.

  9. Take green printed paper and cut into strips.

  10. Roll each around a stick to make paper sticks. Cut them in different lengths.

  11. Insert them into the vase. Glue one tip as you insert them inside.

  12. Glue paper flowers on the other end of each stick.

  13. Write a message on a tiny piece of paper and place into the vase of flowers.
