Formica Cabinets Damaged by Tile Cleaner?

I have white formica cabinets; they got stains from a tile acid cleaner. How can I take those stains off?

It may be a permanent stain. You can try to minimize it by making a paste of baking soda and water. metcabinet.com/.../FormicaCareGuide.pdf

You probably cannot remove all of the stain.
Was this a cleaner that was used to clean grout?

You can read some suggestions and maybe try one at a time but give each one a chance to do the job.

Someone suggested using liquid soap (maybe Dawn), mix with baking soda to form a paste and gently scrub with one of those green scrub pads.

You can even try flour instead of baking soda with a little vinegar (and soap).
Make a paste and Use the green scrubby again and see if that will help.

Otherwise you might try Soft Scrub or Barkeeper's Friend as both of these are supposed to not scratch your surface.
