Freezing Avocados

Put the avocado halves in a zip top bag and freeze. Avocados do not last long, and you can freeze them to take advantage of sales.

Steps:

Wash with skin on.

Cut in half.

Peel.

Either store halves in a ziplock bag, or mash the avocado and add a little lemon or lime juice and put in an airtight container.

I sure thank you for this tip!
I never knew avacados could be put in the freezer. You've sure helped a life long situation, haha - because when avacados are on sale, I buy so many, then eat them all up in a few days, until I'm actually sick of them just to not let them go bad, so to learn this tip, is definitely the way to go!

I just clean, cut in half,put in freezer bag and freeze.
