There are certain hair masks that you can freeze. If you've made one with coconut oil and honey you can freeze this in ice cube trays.

If it is made with ingredients that freeze well, I dont see why not.

I have read about spas that freeze facial masks and then use them like popsicles as part of a treatment. So I would assume it is safe to freeze a hair mask since they are usually similar ingredients. But will it be the same consistency when thawed?

Probably not. I can see it separating and not being asthetically pleasing. If it is for personal use and that is ok with you, go for it. If it is for a salon or spa treatment, i would say no thanks if I was the customer.

the problem with freezing things is freezing natural ingredients that get freezer burned or decompose in some way due to ice crystals forming.

All the vegetables that folks say should be blanched before freezing are an example (only one comes to mind is tomatoes) - also things that separate, like oil and water. Also from personal experience, cooked grains like oatmeal and rice do terrible in the freezer but for eating- the texture is bad. But for face mask might be good

It doesn't hurt to give it a try and see if it works. It varies depending on the ingredients you use.

If it's all natural, yes. With most things you freeze, try double wrapping it to be air tight. You could always try just a small portion to see how it fairs :)
