Getting Rid of Burnt Smell in Microwave?

I was home alone and decided to make a microwave mac and cheese and it burnt and it smells bad. I tried microwaving lemon slices and vinger and it didn't work. What should I do? I need something quick, please help me.

Usually boiling a bowl of white vinegar helps, but have you tried simmering some vanilla extract? Be sure the microwave has been thoroughly cleaned and leave the door open over night.
