Activated charcoal and a spray bottle of diluted vinegar will work.
I use mothballs In my attic the smell is super strong some told to use to get rid off rats so i did . How can I get rid of the smell help please.

Air it out as much as possible but when the doors and windows are closed, keep sachets of lavender and cloves in corners.
Spray down with vinegar solution let sit overnight then air out
