Grandma Browns Baked Beans

I'm looking for Grama Brown's Baked beans. I live in the south now and I'm from Upstate New York (Geneva). Can they still be purchased up North?

Yes, they do still sell them in NY. I live in GA now, but I'm from Lockport, NY. I go back home every year in March for the UAW Bowling Tournament. If I'm low on my Grandma Brown Beans, I buy another case and bring them back with me! You can not find good beans in the south that taste anything at all like Grandma Brown's.

I just got my 24 can reserve of Grandma Brown's Beans from visiting Little Falls relatives. In the summer add Heinz Catsup and brown sugar. Special times call for crushed pineapple and brown sugar then the regular brown sugar and bacon. Charlotte area Harris Teeter ordered them. I gave them a label. I found them on the shelf, but they only ordered them once.

They have then. I am from Oakfield outside of Batavia and I get them shipped to Florida all the time! There is no bean like them!

I live in Arizona (originally from Penn Yan, NY). You can order the beans from the company (only sold in NY).

Here is the number (315) 963-7221

They will send you a order form and you pay by check, not sure if they take credit cards

Thanks

Grandma Brown's Baked Beans can be found in all Price Chopper, K-Mart, and Hanneford stores, as well as many smaller markets. They are very easy to find--no need to special order at higher prices and shipping charges!

In Michigan now, born and raised in NY, I've become a vegetarian lately. I need info to order them or where can I get them in Michigan? All the beans we have here are runny and nasty in comparison.

I have been looking for a way to get some Grandma Brown's baked beans here in La Crosse, Wisconsin. I am originally from Burlington,Vermont. I haven't had them in years. I tried looking them up to buy over the internet but the shipping cost was a whole lot more than the beans actually cost. We had them every Saturday when I was a child, many years ago.

Now living in Anderson S.C. I love my G.B.'s Beans. Whenever my mother flies down for vacation I have her bring me a case.

I love to add minced onion, dry mustard, 1/2 tsp. horseradish, a couple tablespoons of molasses and some half cooked lean Black label bacon. I've served them at company lunches and for friends. All these people from the south who've grown up on Bush's say it puts them to shame. Would love to hear from any transplanted "yankees" with your suggestions. Miss the north-everything except the winters and the job situation (lack there of).

Take Care!

I am from Remsen City, NY and buy them at the grocery store whenever I go back from Massachussets to visit. I miss them so much and divorced my wife when she gave the last lot to a food drive. OK, I am kidding, but it made me mad. Brown sugar, bacon on the top and an hour in the oven. Put it alongside a spoonful of potato salad and one is in picnic heaven. Thanks for all the phone #'s and email address, I am ordering as soon as I sign off.

They are the best. I asked my mom to bring some to my home in Knightdale NC and she bought me the biggest can a #10 can. I'll have gas for a year. You can mail order them.

Just wanted to let you know that they have a site where you can order the beans and have them shipped. Of course, I found the shipping to be just as expensive as the beans themselves. You can go to Buffalofoods.com and order these wonderful beans. Or if you still have family there like I do (Perry), you can have them ship them and it may not cost as much.

All you New Yorkers need to get together and develop a web site or bulletin board so we can figure out the number of people who miss Grandma Browns Baked Beans. If the nunbers are large enough maybe we can get one of the food chains in Arizona to carry the product. So think about things can be accomplished in number. Good luck.
