Growing Tomatoes?

I am just wondering who had good luck with certain kinds of tomato plants? I tried a few new varieties last year, but was not impressed. I did best with Early Girl and Celebrity. I also like the Husky Cherry reds.

Make sure you get plants that are disease resistant. Also get plants that do well in your area. Any garden center can help you with that.

I like to plant roma. They are thicker more meaty tomato that does well when used in salsa. Your local extension center can tell you if you have a master gardeners club in your area.

Such clubs often put on programs for the public regarding growing produce as well as flowers.

I live in Florida and I have great success with Big Boy.

I get a lot of gardening information from Mother Earth (web of course) so maybe you could get something useful also. They suggest looking for best for your area:
