Growing a Cherry Tree from a Pit?

My cherry seed has germinated producing white leaves. What is the problem?
And how can I solve it?

Sometimes leaves become white if a plant was exposed to too strong sunlight or too suddenly after growing in shade or half-shade. If this is the problem you should protect the plant from direct sunlight.
