Homemade Facial Cleanser

This low cost facial cleanser is so gentle you can use it every day. If you use it even a few times a week, your complexion will be radiant for the holidays. All you do is dampen a tablespoon of cornmeal with enough water to make a coarse paste. To this paste, add a few drops of liquid hand soap. Now gently massage the mixture all over your face, then rinse with warm water. You'll have the cleanest pores in town. Happy Holidays!

I prefer to use sugar instead of cornmeal. It does not leave a mess that can clog your drains, it just dissolves. (11/28/2006)

I will try this, thanks. Since I am pregnant, my skin has gone nuts. (10/01/2008)

I use witch a hazel after I have washed my face with either soap and water or a off brand facial cleanser. Witch a hazel is very cheap, affordable. I put it on a cotton ball and clean my face with it. It doesn't really dry out my face. (06/19/2010)
