Homemade Stain Busters

Silver Post Medal for All Time! 433 Posts

There are quite a few home remedies for some nasty stains we all seem to get on our clothing. For ketchup, use vinegar and scrub with a toothbrush. Add some dish soap and scrub some more, then wash as usual. For a grease stain use salt. Dump some on the spot and let sit for an hour, brush off salt and wash. If you have a red wine stain use white wine, pour on the stain then wash it. With coffee stains, use soda and vinegar. Scrub with a toothbrush. Clean oil stains using baby powder and dish soap; scrub. For a blood stain use Coke. Soak for 1 hour in Coke. It will also take gum out of your hair as well as make your hair lighter. Shaving lotion works on lots of stains as well.
