It sounds like you could be dealing with stinkbugs, aphids, or tomato hornworms. All these seem to leave yellowish egg clusters on the undersides of leaves.

Constant vigilance and picking the eggs off is one solution.

Ladybug eggs I'm almost sure of it.ive seen about 200 of these around my home this spring...but as the above comment said ...probably have aphids or something small lke it close by or inhabiting the plant cus that is mainly what "baby ladybugs" eat

Yes, they are tomato worms. I have to go through the garden every couple of days & pick them off. You have to squish them, too, so I wear garden gloves.

Hornworm eggs are laid as individuals, not clusters. This is a lady bug egg cluster. Don't crush them.

The best way to keep tomato worms at Bay is to plant Marigolds around your tomato plants plants. Works like a charm.

Tomato hornworm eggs are round and typically laid singly. These are actually ladybug eggs (football-shaped, yellow to orange, laid in clusters).

By smashing these you are actually killing beneficial insects that help keep the aphid population down.
