The fruit looks pretty flat, and even though the colour is not quite right, it could be a persimmon tree.

Thank you so much for the reply Pghgirl40. Hope these pics help. They are ripening quickly & so yummy! I live in California (via Chicago/Sicily). My boyfriend, originally for Half Moon Bay, says they are apricots ;)

Hi and thanks for the additional photos. Yum!! The look like apricots! Not 100% positive, but they look like the Manchurian variety.

This looks like a very healthy tree but just in case it is on your property, it does need care or it may not produce again next year.
