Identifying a Porcelain Doll?

Identifying a Porcelain Doll - name of designer Can anyone tell me who made this porcelain doll? It has a signature on the back of the neck, but I can not read the name. The doll is about 18" tall and there is a male doll as well.

Believe it or not, that signature is Marie Osmond. I have one like it and just found out what it is.

I can tell you the doll has little value. It is #1497. There are at least 1496 dolls just like it and possibly many more. Also, it was made in the 1990s, which is very recent.

You can try E-bay to see if your doll is listed and if any have sold.I see 1999 on the neck it is not antique.

Identifying your doll

I believe the signature on the doll is Cheria O'Neal.
The doll was made in 1999
Your doll is 1497 in a series of dolls.

If this is correct, then the doll is only worth around $20 to $25 at the most.
You might get around $40 to $50 for the pair of dolls if you decide to list them for sale at an auction house or on eBay.

If the doll is an actual collectors doll they will have other marking on the doll.
The guide will help you identify these marking and give you a better idea if I am right or not.

These are actually Marie Osmond dolls, to correct the previous person who answered the question. I have quite a collection of her tiny tots, and a few toddlers.

She made dolls exclusively for QVC, there is a niche of collectors for these dolls, and some are fetching higher prices than others.
