Probably there are a lot of other brands of candy canes that are made in China also but I have not heard of any problem with candy canes except they should be consumed in small quantities.
You can check out the ingredients and decide for yourself how many should be in one's diet.

I have not heard anything about a recall. Check at your family dollar store to verify.
I think they are. The only issue I have heard are vitamins from China, not candy.
FDA- Food Drug Administration link would have this info. When I checked there wasn't a recall on this product.
