I see the name Wells Co on the wheel of this mower but when I look up this company there is nothing about it at all. I can give you an idea about how much this is actually worth but not how old the mower actually is. These push mowers are listed for sale around $60-70 on eBay. They normally sell for right around this price so that would be the value of the mowers. Your mower is in poor condition and needs quite a bit of work. If you'd like to restore this mower you may get a high price when you try to sell it.

If you'd like to learn more about this mower I would like to suggest that you visit a vintage lawnmower forum and post the images there. There are a lot of collectors on this forum and they know quite a bit of the history of different mowers such as this one. I did find a company called Wells & Co online but this company seems to deal with beer brewing now and not lawnmowers.

I did not find any mowers like yours and found no information on any name/words shown on mower/pictures.
You may want to try some of the lawn mower forums as questions are usually answered by collectors. They will not discuss value - only identification.

These are the names/words I found on in your pictures:
1) New Country
2) Marshall Wells
3) JH2
4) Made in USA
5) Pat.D Sept. 12.99
Provide this information to sites listed below and, hopefully, one or two will provide some type of information.
Be sure to provide a picture of the complete mower including handle and any markings on handle.

You did not ask about value but almost everyone usually wants to know what an item is worth so I've included some basic information on this subject.

Vintage push reel mowers usually sell better than a lot of items even during this Coivd-19 period.
There are several things that will have bearing on the value of these mowers.

Conditions that will make value higher or lower:
1) Condition - working is a good sign - cuts grass? - clean looking - rust is okay but not dirty loose rust.
2) Location - Your location may be an area that can use a push mower or it may be an area that no one is interested in your mower so your buyers may be far & few between. Slow selling and less money.
Location is important because it is very expensive to ship a mower and almost all sales will be 'local pick up only'.
You can sometimes check push mowers on Craigslist or USA4Sale (your zip) and see if there are push mowers listed for sale. Watch a few to see if they sell. These are also good sites to list a mower for sale.
3) Brand named mowers usually sell for more money (and may sell faster) but unbranded mowers still sell okay.

Value: brand name mowers - $50-$250 but more often in the $75 field.
Value: no name mowers - $15-$50 but occasionally more.

If you're interested in selling this mower you'll have much better luck if you can find out from the forums who made it and year it was made.
To get some idea of how sellers are listing reel mowers you can check out the for sale listings on eBay. You can also place a watch on any listing to see if it sells. Just remember that asking prices have very little to do with current value as these prices are just prices that a seller would like to receive for their mowers. Be sure to check the actual 'pick up' locations also.

You can check eBay's sold listings to see what type of mowers are selling as well as what people are actually paying for these mowers but be sure to check pick up locations.

If you decide you would like to sell you can post another question after you find out more about this mower.

My guess is that its 121 years old, and that it was made in Springfield Massachusetts.
