I was told my dog is a full blood Chihuahua, but he does have floppy ears. He just turned one year old. He's the best dog ever! He's full of energy and loves me unconditionally. Could he be a Chiwennie?

He could be a Chiwennie. The legs have the Weiener bend to them, but the rest is all Chi! He is very sweet!!
Did the vet weigh in? The vet can look his teeth, hips etc. and give you the best guess!!

He/She looks like my puppy and I was told he was a mix but a teacup Applehead/DeerheadChihuahua mix, but he looks almost exactly like yours!! I wish I can attach a photo!!

Thank you everyone. Hes the best thing thats happened to me in quite some time. I brought him home on a whim, wasnt looking for a fur baby at all, but he chose me while at my sisters house getting my hair done. Shes a beautician. Cubbie kept wanting up on my lap & kept hugging me, my sis said geez he dont do that with me so he came home with me in June & we havent parted since that day. My sis was keeping him until he found a forever home. Well hes got it.

Cubbies ears remind me of the Flying Nun, a tv series I use to watch when I was a kid. LOL. I always thought a full blooded chi had pricked ears, but Im finding that to be false. Learning something new everyday. Ive been feeding him home cooked chicken, turkey & beef daily, but hes not one for veggies & fruit. Im concerned about that & luckily he will eat some of his dry dog food. I bought a good grade at Pet Supplies Plus Store. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Our boy eats only dry food. Petigree is what he, the vet, and we finally settled on that keeps his weight and allergies in check. He gets an occasional piece of a veggie or white meat of chicken. Little pups you do need to be mindful of their weight!
He is adorable and he looks all chi to me. Keep loving on that little monkey. The world needs more happy dogs.
