Recently I got a GSDd puppy. Does she look purebred to you guys ? I know you can't really know without papers, but the only papers the breeder got are medical papers that say both parents' breed is German Shepherd. Do you think it can be trusted?

The way to find out is if you know the puppy's sire and dam(father and mother), or the previous owner tells or gives you the names. They should be listed in on the pedigree. After you have the names look up AKC German Shepard pedigree service. My parents did that work along with breeding, training, and showing shepards and Flat Coated Retrievers. You might find their dogs listed if you go back to the 70's.
It looks purebred. You can do a DNA test to find out for sure.
from the looks of her, the colouring, the snout, etc I would feel confident saying she is a real GErman Shepherd

When I tried to figure out what my Clarence was, I used a bunch of websites to help me. The one at the end of this message gave the best advice...which was to check with his vet. They know breed standards and what that translates to on the pup.

Thank u ! We cant rly know for sure without a dna,some ppl say she is some ppl say she is mixed but i stopped caring bout this cuse mixed or not she got the classic and dominant look of the shepherd and btw from ur knowledge can u recognize what coat type she is ?
If you would like to tell if your grerman Shepard Id a pure bread look at the way the legs bend . If they are bent at a angle when they are standing they are NOT pure .but if their legs are strait when they stand they are pure bread.
