Can anyone read the signature and writing or know anything about it. It is a signed Japanese painting on silk. It's very unique.

I don't have a huge amount of experience with these, but I can tell you a few things. There are lots and lots and lots of very similar pieces out there.
Most are only referred to as "signed" because it is such a challenge to figure out the who the artist is/was--unless it is someone super famous...and even then it takes a trained expert in this genre to know those few artists.
Most are listed by what the scene is of--like waterfall, pagoda, etc.

Generally they range in SOLD values (not asking prices) from 10.00 into the low hundreds. The only things I can see that make a difference in the value (and this is from an untrained eye) are size and condition.
In the rare occasions I try to resell art, I go to the three big galleries' in my city that do art auctions and get three bids on what they will sell the piece for me in a real auction--NOT an eBay auction. They take a commission, which is well worth it because they do all the hard work of running the auction and the shipping or delivery.
If I like what I see, I pick the best one. I can tell you the market is very, very, very soft for many things including art right now (at least where I am it is)...so I have not sold anything art related in a long time. Holding on to things hoping they will appreciate.

I've had the picture for over 25 years I bought it at a flea market that buys estate sells.i guess I may never know anything about it but I have always loved looking at it..It had not ever been opened up out of the frame to a few weeks ago I never knew it was hand painted on silk .it's so smooth looks like a print but I was so surprised it wasn't.but thanks for the advice.

It appears this particular spot must have been (or still is) a favorite place for painters (probably a lot of amateur painters also) as there are numerous similar paintings listed for sale online.
I have two suggestions:
If you have a Japanese restaurant in your area, I would suggest taking the painting or your pictures and ask if someone can help identify the artist and maybe help you with information about the painting. I have done this with Chinese items (Chinese restaurants) and usually received a lot of help.
2nd: post your pictures on Reddit and see if someone there can help. Sometimes they provide amazing information - quickly. Reddit is not very 'user friendly' so if you join and have trouble posting pictures just ask for help.

I think you need to take it to a dealer who is familiar with Japanese silk paintings.
You really need to post a better picture of the painting - full picture and not on an angle. Also post the size of the picture as well as any information you have about the age and/or history of the picture.

I agree with Pghgirl40. There are lots of similar Japanese silk paintings.
As for the price, this is one also signed, with a pagoda, a waterfall and a bridge is now on sale for $ 50.
