Keeping Plastic Bags Organized for Your Car

Diamond Post Medal for All Time! 1,298 Posts

An empty tissue box next to plastic bags .In California, we pay 10 cents per bag at the grocery store. Lately, I have been forgetting my bags and buying new bags which adds up. I found a great solution, fold the bags and store them in an empty tissue box. You can stuff a lot of bags in the tissue box! Then, I place the tissue box in the trunk so there is no clutter inside the car.

This method is not only only for those who live in states that charge bag fees. But if you want to help reduce plastic in the environment you can do this as well.

I keep a square tissue box by my chair to drop in yarn scraps. They also come in handy in the car for kids to put their sandwich and fry wrappers in instead of the floor.
