I have a Kenmore fridge that hasn't been used in 3 years. I plugged it in last night around 7 and woke up today and it's still not cool. How long would it usually take after being unplugged that long. I bought it brand new 4 years ago and used it for a year before it was unplugged. So it's pretty new.

Collective wisdom says at will take at least 24 hours to cool, and that one should wait several hours after that before storing food inside. (The freezer likely will start cooling first.)
Typically 24 hours. Some refrigerators could have warranty too, so if it doesn't work you might want to check up on that.
It takes 24-48 hours to get cool. I once unplugged a refrigerator and it did not work when I plugged it in again. However, it was an old refrigerator. I hope you have better luck.

Unfortunately, most Kenmore products have this issue including my own appliances! More than likely it is the compressor or the coils underneath the back of the fridge just depending on what model you have.
You may want to look at Kenmores website and see if there is a recall on your model/series/parts.
If Recall is NOT online, they have a 1800 number and if on recall they do have technicians that will replace parts/fridge. GOOD LUCK!
Most refrigerators have a knob you can turn starting with on/off and usually go up to 10 for how cold you want the refrigerator to be. I would look and see if you have a knob , it is possible you have not turned it on !!!
