My Kenmore ice maker is making ice, but not as much as it used to produce. The ice maker keeps making knocking sounds. I changed the flyer, but the sounds still continue.

Check water line and water valve. Make sure line isn't clogged and that water valve is turned up, for more water flow. Try that!
It could be that your line is slowing blocking the flow and needs to be cleaned or replaced.
Also, you probably have a filter that needs replacing.

Knocking sounds from a motor can mean that the motor is working too hard, not enough water is added to the machine to allow the motor to run properly, or there is a piece that is broken inside the motor that needs to be replaced. You may need to take the ice maker our and check the parts on the inside, check the lines that ad water to the machine, and check to see if any valve is clogged or plugged up that prevents the flow of water to the ice maker.
