I made (knit) a simple rectangle shape to put under my laptop. This computer cozy helps to slide the computer and it distributes the battery heat.

Brilliant idea how many stitches did you cast on with. My laptop burns my legs I have tried various things but doesn't help.
I realize this is 6 year old, but I have an idea. Yarn will make you sweat. If you can, find the laptop desks that have the beaded filler in it. The beads can shift to your weight so if you want to tilt it toward you you can. Hope that helps.
