Leaves Dying on Avocado Tree?

Leaves Dying on Avocado Tree - dry brown spots on leavesI've been growing this avocado tree for about 2 years and she's been thriving until about 2 weeks ago when the leaves started to turned brown and dry up. I'm not sure what the issue is. I tried fertilizer and that showed no signs of improvement. I usually water maybe twice a week, but I have noticed some small bugs in the soil of my tree and I'm not sure what they are or if they are the problem. I'm very concerned and would appreciate if someone could help me figure out the problem and try to save her!

The bugs may be killing your tree. Spray with an organic insecticide

Use sand/pumice/decomposed granite as your soil medium, dont mix potting mix or compost or anything organic for the roots. Then place the organic material on top of the soil.
