Lion Spoon PuppetMake cute animal puppets with a spoon! My daughter had a phase on liking puppets and I've made a few before and now she's begun liking them again, so here's a lion I made!

I have a plastic box to save any disposable utensils we may have. I wash and dry them for future use.

Total Time: 15 minutes

Supplies:

Steps:

  1. Trace circle using a bottle cap onto yellow construction paper and cut out.
  2. Lion Spoon Puppet - trace a circle using a cap onto construction paper
     
  3. Mark and cut a slit to slide spoon in.
  4. Lion Spoon Puppet - mark and cut a slit for the spoon
     
  5. Cut slits around the circle and draw facial features of a lion on the spoon. Attach googly eyes or draw them with a marker.
  6. Lion Spoon Puppet - cut slits around the circle for the mane and draw a face on the convex side of the spoon, use googly eyes or draw them on with the marker
     
  7. Use orange and brown marker to draw hair strokes. Your lion spoon puppet is complete!
  8. Lion Spoon Puppet - add hair to mane using the orange and brown markers
