The name of my spirea is "Little Princess."
It has pink to rose-crimson colored flowers in late spring through summer.
Spirea is a deciduous flowering shrub and there are many different varieties.
Spirea shrubs are very easy to grow and has no particular pests.
They prefer well-drained, deep moist soil. Full sun. Tolerates heat. Very showy.

I have also found that deer leave this shrub alone. I like the 'little princess' spirea also. I live in zone 3 and have no problem growing many different kinds of spireas here. (06/11/2005)

WOW, that shrub is beautiful. I'm so glad you posted a picture because I have a shrub that died over this winter and I need a replacement. Now I know what to put in that spot. (06/12/2005)
