Look for Working Self Serve Car Washes

When in doubt about whether a do it yourself car wash is working, look for the wet ones. Because it has been used recently, it is more than likely a working one. :)

This only tells if the car wash is operating. Many times though, it may be operating, but will be completely out of soap and/or wax. I look for ones that are actually in use at the time, and ask the other customers there if it has soap/wax.
