Twas the day after Christmas when all through the mall
Not a shopper was stirring, they had all hit the wall
The stockings were empty, the trees were all bare
In hopes that the Visa bill, wouldn't be there.
The children were hyper, like too many meds
While candy cane sugar rush went to their heads
With mammas and daddys all feeling like crap
And everyone needing a post turkey nap.
To drive in the city seemed fraught with dangers
Cos the stores were all busy with present exchangers
"Half off it all" they screamed in the ad
And missing that sale would really be bad.
So into the cars we make the huge leap
And just like Black Friday, we run out like sheep
The car ads are frightening, tax time will be soon
With Androids and 4G, iPods and iTunes.
With the house a disaster and the carcass to clean
We'll have turkey hash till next Halloween
Decoration debris is scattered down halls
Cos the cat ate the tinsel and the dog ate the balls.
The games are all on and the guys wait for scores
Some will get cheers but some will get snores
The Santa's departed, the cheeks have been kissed
While granting the kiddies their long Christmas list.
We sit and we think "Wow! Another year gone"
Then we hear a noise somewhere out on the lawn
It's New Years partiers - now that's way too soon
It's not New Years Day - heck it's not even noon.
But all we can think of is this - with bereft
There's just 364 shopping days left!
Happy New Year Everyone!

This is a poem I wrote that I hope all will keep in mind this holiday season and every day of the year.
You can type out in colored fonts and attach to a goody bag. Red is the color of the blood Jesus gave to forgive our sins so we can be saved.

I'm looking for a Christmas poem that says how I have learned this, or---such and so, from you and thank-you for being in my life. It is sort of a thank you to those who have made me the kind of person that I have become.
I think it went around about ten years or more ago. I remember it as being a full page long and only about 4 inches wide, when typed.
Help! I'm going crazy looking.
I remember that poem but don't remember all the words. I just did a google search thinking maybe I'd find it but I couldn't. I hope someone finds it because I want it too.
You know I always go crazy looking for something like a poem, song something of the sort, but what I learned is that you should write your own!
Not sure if anything you're looking for is here...but here are some pages that might have what you're looking for. C: (And that last one is pretty funny, lol)
Does anyone have the Santa poop poem?
By Phyllis from Massena, NY
Phyllis there is a web-site with every kind of poop poems, its called pooppage: tetodd.tripod.com/index-pooppage.html
Have fun, it has even those for halloween and more.
I was going to suggest the same website. Haven't ever heard of a Santa poop poem but there are Reindeer and Snowman ones. I made gift gag bags a couple years ago using milk duds for reindeer poop and mini marshmallows for snowman poop. ;-)
Here's the direct hilighted link to click instead of having to copy and paste it into the search bar:
I hear you've been naughty,
So listen, here's the scoop...
I'm running short on coal this year,
So you get "Snowman Poop"
I know it's early, but I will be making some candy wreaths for co-workers and others for Christmas. Years ago I saw one that had a poem telling people to snip a piece of candy for luck. Does anyone have that poem and would be willing to share it? I would appreciate it. Thanks.
Margaret from Denton, Texas
I found this poem on this website called; A Candy Cane Christmas and thought it was nice for your candy wreaths. Just drop the cane throughout the poem unless your using candy canes to decorate it of course. Thank you for a great gift idea and reminding me that Christmas isn't so far away.
Candy Cane Friendship Wreath Poem
It's the time of year to show friends that we care,
So I put up this candy cane wreath that I'd like to share.
Please take the scissors and snip away,
Take a candy cane with which I say. . .
"A Candy Cane for you, 'cause you're such a sweet friend,
And with each little sweet treat, my thanks to you I send!"
I just found this on someone else's web site not sure if it is the same poem or not.
This wreath of cheer is made for you,
You'll find the scissors handy,
To bring you luck throughout the year,
Snip off a piece of candy.
I am looking for a poem/letter/story about a Christmas star/present. You leave this "letter" along with a gift on the doorstep of a friend or neighbor anonymously. Hope someone can help. Thanks!

A child was born in Bethlehem
many years ago.
In a small and humble stable,
(there was no place else to go).
Above the little manger shown
the Star of Bethlehem.
Sparkling like a diamond rare,
a bright and shining gem.
It kept a lonely vigil there
in the midnight sky.
Like a beacon to the world
and every passer-by.
From Heaven's stately mansions came
Angels singing praise.
Announcing His arrival
as on Him they did gaze.
