Fun little dog ornaments, a cute gift for the dog lover and fun to do a "litter" for fund raising. I picked up different colors of garland at thrift stores and garage sales so there were a variety of colors. I even made a few girlie pooches with pink ornaments!

Supplies:

  • satin ornament
  • red felt
  • white and black pom poms
  • plastic doll eyes
  • ribbon
  • garland
  • hot glue gun

Steps:

  1. Cut out ears and attach pompons. Also cut out tongue.
  2. Then in this order, hot glue to the ornament:

    • ears
    • topknot pompoms
    • eyes
    • white and black nose pompoms and tongue
    • garland
    • ribbon on topknot

Cute as a button! I make ornaments each Thanksgiving with my sister's grandchildren. This one is on the list for next year.

Thank you The Aunt! The hardest part is finding the white satin ornaments, I gathered mine in thrift stores, yard sales and online. One very nice ebay person gave me a discount because I was making them for our local animal rescue... animal people are the best. Have fun with them!
