Making Metal Bottle Cap Oysters with Pearls

Supplies:

• bottle caps
• permanent markers or paint
• plastic pearls
• hot glue gun
• pliers

Steps:

1. Gather your supplies.

 
2. Take a bottle cap and using the pliers flatten out the edges all around. It should look like the cap on the right.

 

 

 
3. Using your permanent marker, paint any color or design you'd like.

 

 

 

 
4. Cut a plastic pearl off. Use the hot glue gun and put a dot of glue in the middle of the cap. Quickly press the pearl on.

5. With the hot glue gun add glue on the back edge of the cap. Quickly press other cap on for a few seconds.

 

 
6. Enjoy your creations ! :)

I never cease to be amazed at the things you very creative women come up with, (pardon my English). I do like the last oyster pictured, best. The inside background does look like nacre.

Those are adorable! I would glue on a magnet to the back to use as a refrigerator magnet.
