Making Popsicle Stick Snowflake Ornaments - ornament on the treeI recently discovered glittery hot glue sticks and knew I had to get a bag for my son who loves hot glue and especially glittery items like glitter glue for his arts and crafts.

All on his own, he made this and I'm really impressed! It is a simple ornament, but is very pretty and detailed. This would actually make a lovely gift from kids to anyone also!

Total Time: 25 minutes

Supplies:

Steps:

  1. Using craft sticks, make a snowflake design by hot gluing craft sticks on top of each other in a criss cross pattern. (You will use 4 craft sticks for this process each and repeat this step if you make more.)

  2. Ready to decorate/design your snow flake. First my son used blue dots and dotted giving space between each dot.

  3. In between, he dotted red dots.

  4. Using pipe cleaner (used 2) twist to create loop. Then hot glue to snowflake and ready to hang your new ornament on your Christmas tree!!
