Boo Banner - finished banner hanging on the mantleHere is a simple and cute "Boo" banner my son and I made together. This banner is easily made with items you have at home and will look nice hanging on your mantle.

Total Time: 20 minutes

Supplies:

  • construction paper
  • scissors
  • sticker ribbon
Boo Banner - colored paper and sticker ribbon
 

Steps:

  1. With your choice of construction paper colors, trace your toddler's hand twice and cut out. The hands will be the Os in Boo.
  2. Boo Banner - trace and cut out hand prints in two different colors
     
  3. Freehand and cut the letter B out.
  4. Boo Banner - draw and cut out a capital letter B
     
    Boo Banner - cutting and finished letter
     
  5. Lay out the letter/handprint cutouts and attach to ribbon sticker. If you do not have ribbon sticker, you can attach to ribbon with hot glue or use a hole puncher and thread ribbon through.
  6. Boo Banner -arrange the three elements
     
    Boo Banner - attach the B and the handprints to sticker ribbon

  7. Ready to stick banner on mantle and display!
