Hot Glue Necklace - child wearing the necklace Here is a cute necklace my son made for his sister. This pendant is made from hot glue, in person it looks lab opal inspired (pictures didn't capture how pretty it really is.) The glittery hot glue stick is from Dollar Tree, it comes in an assortment of colors for $1.00 - the stick he used was clear with glitter.

Total Time: 15 minutes

Supplies:

hot glue gun
hot glue glitter stick
24 gauge wire
wire cutter
elastic cord
paper
pencil/colored pencil

Steps:

Draw a circle as a guide (optional) or any shape you would like as your pendant.
Squeeze hot glue inside the circular shape. Then, using a piece of craft wire bend to it make an upside u shape and place in the hot glue. Allow to dry.

Squeeze more hot glue and allow to dry. Peel off the paper and now your pendant is complete!

Hot Glue Necklace - glue drying, once dry remove from the paper

Cut elastic cord to your desired necklace length. Thread the cord through the pendant and knot the cord. The necklace is now complete.
