Hot Glue Spiderweb Bowl - spiderweb candy bowlThis spiderweb bowl is very easy to make. All you need is a bowl and hot glue. Painting it is optional. I love how sturdy it is. It holds my Halloween treats just fine!

Steps:

  1. Wipe off the outside of your glass bowl. If it's got uneven areas or divots, lightly grease it with a piece of paper towel dipped in some cooking oil. This will keep your glue bowl from sticking to it.
  2. Hot Glue Spiderweb Bowl - clean the outside of the bowl

  3. Flip your bowl upside down and fill in a circle of hot glue on top. Draw at least 3 rings of glue around it, going down the bowl.
  4. Hot Glue Spiderweb Bowl - flip upside down and fill the bottom with glue, then add 3+ circles around the bowl

  5. Draw several lines going down the rings, passing the last ring a bit.
  6. Hot Glue Spiderweb Bowl - draw lines from the center down to the rim crossing over the circles, extend a bit past the last circle

  9. The hot glue will dry very quickly. Lodge your nail or something thin between the glue and the bowl to start peeling it off.
  10. Hot Glue Spiderweb Bowl - use your nail or something to peel the glue off when it cools and sets

  11. It will easily flip inside out and pop right off the bowl.
