When the sun starts to heat up added to our rotational power shut down, that's seriously not cool at all. Then it would make you find a cool place to stay. But upon looking around I found some material that would at least relieve me from the annoying hot weather.

Supplies:
1 piece A4 sized cardboard paper
1 single fastener
scissors
glue
pencil
Steps:
The first step is to fold the paper in half horizontally.
Cut along the fold.
Fold one side twice to create four mini rectangles. (see attached image) Cut apart. Do the same with the other half. So you'll have 8 rectangles.
Get one of the rectangles and draw any design you wish.

Cut out the design and do the same with the rest.
Stack them into layers, but set aside one piece.
Draw or mark the center bottom portion of the stacked shapes.
Prick that with the scissors all the way through the back to make a hole.

Insert the paper fastener.
Fold or seal the back portion. (see attached image)
Apply glue all over the back portion and cover with the remaining paper shape.
You can now start to release the layers carefully and you'll see a mini hand fan is formed. You can use the hard part (back portion) as the handle of your fan.

This project is about how to make a paper fan. Most of us know how to quickly make a fan by folding a piece of paper back and forth. These instructions teach you how to take that one step further and add handles. The fan can be folded to put in your pocket or handbag and only takes seconds to unfold and use.
