Succulents are very universal and easy to grow! You can incorporate succulents into so many arrangements and even make an ornament for your Christmas tree!

Make adorable mini succulent pinecone ornaments. They are perfect for your Christmas tree or to give as gifts (very inexpensive gift option and handmade)! People actually craft and sell these, but I'll show you how to make them.

Total Time: 15 minutes

Yield: 1 ornament (you can make more)


  • succulent cuttings (size to accommodate your pine cone)
  • pine cone
  • twine string
  • ribbon bow
  • hot glue


  1. Using twine rope attach it to cone the by tying a secure knot around the cone's stem. Then make a loop with the ends of the twine and tie a knot to make the ornament hanger.

  3. Hot glue succulent arrangements on the top of your pine cone.
  4. For finishing touches, tie a bow and hot glue it in the center of the twine string. It is ready to hang on your tree or make more as gifts!
