Tools for Father's Day CardFather's Day is the one day in the year when you can remind your dad that he is your hero, and that you love him to bits. This card is ideal for a father that loves doing woodwork and all kinds of handyman activities in and around the house. The project is masculine enough that a son can make the card for his dad to tell his dad how special he is, and how much he appreciates him.

Steps:

  1. Score the sand colored cardstock to create a card sized 6.3" x 4.3".
  2. With the fold at the left, centre and glue the black sugar paper to the front of the card.
  3. Cut the hammer's handle from the pattern sheet. Place it on the wooden side of the Kaisercraft cardstock, trace all around it with the pencil and cut out the handle. Cut the hammer head from the pattern sheet. Use a small piece of poster tack to secure the pattern to the foil. Carefully cut all around the pattern of the hammer head, and then remove the pattern, so that you will now be left with a hammer head made from foil. Glue the handle and head to the front of the card.
