Medical Information for Emergencies

I was in a car accident three months ago. The ambulance took me to the hospital from the car accident. I didn't have a list of the medicine I take and what I am allergic to. My tip is to keep your list of your medicine in the car or in your purse so that if you are in a accident, the doctor will know what you are taking.

If you are with Kaiser Medical you can get a USB drive with your whole medical record on it. Then all the EMTs have to do is plug it into their laptop to see everything. It is password protected so I just wrote my password on mine. You can also purchase these thumb drives through various catalogs. Or you could just get one at a place like Staples and download your medical record on to it.
