  1. Chop garlic and ginger.

  3. In a large zip loc bag, add all ingredients; chopped garlic, ginger, miso, sake, sugar, soy sauce, olive oil and dash of pepper. Close bag up and mix/shake ingredients.

  5. Add pork shoulder steaks in the zip loc bag with marinate made and give the bag some shakes to coat marinate on all the steaks. Allow to marinate overnight.
