Mole Deterrent

I heard that instead of trying to get rid of moles, which can be difficult, it is better to get rid of their food source. Here in Florida, they love grubs, so by eliminating the grubs the moles will move to another area.

I just treated my lawn so time will tell, I guess. My dog makes it worse by digging along their trail in an effort to catch them. I hope this treatment is effective.

Mice moles and voles supposedly don't like juicy fruit chewing gum. Or possibly they do and try eating it. Which ever the case it does away with them so it is said. Another thing is that mice don't like mint. The story is that if you plant mint around the borders of your home, they will not take up residence in your home. I am not sure if this is true. But I can say there is mint around my home. We don't have mice inside. But we see voles running around out side from time to time. They love to run under mowed grass. Good luck with the rodent problem. Happy Gardening!
