No-see-ums?

I am getting eaten alive by what I believe to be no-see-ums. My house, has been fogged, but it is not helping me. My husband, 2 kids and dog are all bite free and have been for over a week. I've had bug spray, steroids from the doctor, seen a dermatologist, my primary physician and ER Doc. Nothing is helping and I can't figure out why I'm the lucky one. I have bites all over me and I'm itchy. We have no carpets and no open water.

I've fought them for months, and I'm still being bothered. I've tried all kinds of stuff. Working in the mountains of North Carolina is the worst experience with them of my life. I went to a doctor, and be she treated it like lice. They are parasites because they feed off of you. The doctor gave me Ivomectrin a one time dose of five pills, A Permethrin Creme (found in most repellents), and you get a lice kit from Walmart. This was to get rid of the bugs on my body (not to heal) I don't guess, because I'm still getting bit, but I will say that this helped. She said, that I was the first that I she had seen this way.

I mind you that the computer, or database for the doctors had no info what so ever on it. She said, I'd have to go to an Infectious Disease Specialist to get the best help, and possibly some medicine to take daily due to having the type blood or body chemistry they seem to love. God bless you! I know exactly what you are going through, because I had been in bitten so much they gave me an infection inside my body. If you find out anything that will help, kill, or prevent this demon from the gates of hell! Please let me know!! I'm getting bit as I type this!!!

We have these in Tahiti from time to time. What I do is to use fresh mint oil. The bugs don't like the smell of mint and they don't bite your skin. You can make your own mint oil at home.

In a blender, add a bottle of cheap cooking oil. It doesn't have to be expensive. Buy some fresh mint at your store. Break up the mint and add it to the blender. Mix well until the oil turns green.

Now pour the mint oil in a pan and heat it on your stove. Do not allow it to boil just heat. Afterwards, take a clean, white cloth and put it over a bottle. Pour the oil in the bottle.

Apply the oil to your skin several times a day. When my grandchildren visit my grandson gets bit all the time. This is the only way I can keep him from being bitten by bugs here on the islands. It really works.

It is a proven fact that some people are more attractive to bugs than others.

Dynatrap Ultralight Insect and Mosquito Trap is the most renowned CO2 insect trap to cover up to 300 sq. ft. It traps midges, sand flies, gnats, flies, mosquitoes, and other flying insects, including flies, wasps and beetles. Just like the electric bugzappers, it lures the insects with the warm light of a UV lamp, and it also has an additional feature: it mimics human breath. This is the result of UV light and special titanium dioxide-coated surface of the device interaction.

I've bought some I'd the Permethrin stuff they advertise on Amazon at Walmart. You spray your clothes and tents with, orderless sprays, and more. I haven't yet found anything that works for me. My eyes are swollen right now from them trying to get in them, and biting me in my face and around my eyes.

I've seen and done bad things in my life, but out of everything in this world, this is the worst torment in my life. A weak person would probably commit suicide if they were in my shoes. That statement is an example to describe how bad my own personal situation is my
