If you need groceries an alternative would be ordering off Amazon via Amazon Fresh or Amazon Whole Foods. It is free shipping if you spend $35 or more for Amazon members.
The only problem is finding a slot for delivery to order. My tip that has worked is add items you want in your cart (leave it there) and throughout the day or even at night, check if you can check out with a time slot.
When I get the items delivered, I wipe down with alcohol wipe if possible. Or, items that can be repackaged I will do so or dispose original packaging.
