Organic Gardening at Home

rosesI have a bucket in my kitchen next to the trash can, I call it my slop bucket. In it we rinse out food containers and cans, put in leftovers we don't end up eating, rinds, peels, sweeping the floor it goes in, vacuum bag, and hair cuttings. This bucket is dumped in the garden and flower beds all year around, yes even in the winter! We just dump it on the snow. Doing this year after year the garden never needs pesticides for bugs or any fertilizers. I till it in the fall a couple of times after I have added the fall leaves from my trees and I till it twice in the spring before planting. The pictures show the results, and in the end you are organic gardening.
