did you ever figure out how to do this? i am curious as the last home owners attempted to peel it off thinking it was wallpaper and now the walls are ruined..
So we did this in our home, the previous owners did a shoty job of wallpaper which started to come off the wall, tearing the walls. We just sanded around the ripped parts really well then did a light skim of putty.
