Pill Time Reminder

A post-it note strip as a pill reminder.
I don't know about you but when I have to take a medication more than one time a day, I can't remember if I've taken it and when the next time is I'm supposed to take it. I remedied this by making a pill reminder band for the pill bottle by using a couple post-it notes.

A pill bottle with the information blurred out.I don't know about you but when I have to take a medication more than one time a day, I can't remember if I've taken it and when the next time is I'm supposed to take it. I remedied this by making a pill reminder band for the pill bottle by using a couple post-it notes.

Steps:

  1. You use two post-it notes of the same size, attaching them to each other to make one larger note.
  2. Two post it notes stuck together.

  3. You divide by drawing lines on the post-it note, dividing it into 1 inch bands. You cut on the lines you've made to make three separate bands.
  4. Creating strips to use as pill reminders.

Cutting out strips as pill reminders.

  5. You wrap the band around the outside of the bottle with the sticky side up so that it attaches to itself and makes a nice even band that slides up and down on the medication bottle.
  6. A post-it note strip as a pill reminder.

  7. You write the times you are to take the medication on the band. If you need to view information on the bottle, it is easily removed or slid up or down to read whatever it is you have to read.
  8. I cross out the times as I take the pills. The band will allow you a week's worth of writing space. You could even write a letter indicating the day of the week next to the time. And by all means, get better and take all your medication unless otherwise advised by your physician.

Hi. We use Alexa to remind us. Remembering is not easy. We have four daily reminders and can't miss any. Alexa doesn't speak, just plays a soft, bell-like calm sound.

I also have used Alexa for reminders and the like but if my electricity fluctuates which it has done and will probably continue to do something happens to Alexa she hast to be reprogrammed Im a cancer patient its very important that I take my medication exactly when Im supposed to or I get sick so my thought with the band was you can remove it right on it for a week and youre not destroying any information on the bottles if you have to take the bottle with you on a trip thanks for sharing

Good idea. I use 2 different methods when I need a two pill a day reminder. Place 2 rubber bands around the bottle. I push one to the top when I've taken the morning pill & push the lower one to the bottom when I've had the 2nd pill.

The other method is turn the pill bottle on it's top indicating you've taken the 1st pill; then reverse it when you've had the 2nd one.
