Prep Ground Beef for Quick Meals

Gold Post Medal for All Time! 555 Posts

A tray of homemade meatballs, before cooking.I mixed some of my favorite spices (black pepper, garlic, italian seasoning, flax, chia) into a 2 lb. package of ground beef and formed it into one big meat patty that I then cut into equal sized 1/4 lb. meatballs and froze them separately for my daughter. She's a new mom of TWINS so she needs help with food prep. Then I bag them up once they are totally frozen and won't stick to each other. You can freeze them on the Styrofoam tray they were sold in if you want.

This way she can just take out a one or more to put into a George Foreman for an easy hamburger, bake a few for meatballs for a meatball sandwich, for spaghetti sauce or in gravy, push a few meatballs together for an easy meatloaf, or even crumble one or two balls up to add to other recipes like sloppy joes or tacos.

With new twins, every shortened step helps!
